Women’s Affairs at Maysan University, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture and the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, organized a workshop on the “Riyada” initiative, which targets university students and graduates.
The workshop aims to introduce the initiative supported by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, which seeks to transform young people’s ideas into future economic projects by providing the necessary facilities, including training experiences and bank loans.
The workshop was presented by the certified trainer in the Riyada initiative (Eng. Karar Akram Kamel), and included discussing the students’ businesses and projects, evaluating their feasibility, in addition to providing guidance on how to prepare project proposals and mechanisms for applying for future loans.
The workshop recommended the need to enhance the culture of entrepreneurship among students and graduates, and organize more training workshops to develop their skills, while facilitating the procedures for obtaining bank loans to support innovative ideas, and emphasizing the importance of follow-up to ensure the success and sustainability of projects.
