The college of Agriculture at the University of Misan organized a training course on the practical application of how to sterilize sprinklers for pest control under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Al-Yasiri and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Mehdi Dagher in the Plant Protection Department, attended by a number of agricultural engineers from Maysan Agriculture Directorate Number of faculty members and staff.
The course consisted of two parts: the theoretical part, which dealt with the importance of spraying machines and the points to be taken into consideration when conducting chemical control and the factors that cause uneven distribution of materials spraying on crops, as well as the use of sprayers and the most important types of spraying machines used in pest control, , Sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, sprayers, Self-propelled sprayers, agricultural machinery, and agricultural aircraft. The main parts of the spray were also discussed, the importance of the different types of syringes, the types of sprays, the sizes of the spray that can be obtained and their uses, and then the detailed explanation of how to calculate the field to perform the calibration of different kinds of spray equipment.
The second part, the practical part, was the practice of the process of calibrating the type of vehicles with two-wheeler (Holder) capacity of 100 liters by spraying a quantity of water on a known area and estimate the amount of water required to cover the area of one acre and then calculate the amount of water or spray solution To cover the total target area, explaining the factors that affect the efficiency and success of the spraying process.
