Such dramatic changes dictate and impose a burden on us to match, synchronize, and respond accordingly. This can be achieved via revisiting and updating our outputs (content, delivery, and performance) including re-developing the set goals and strategy to be in a harmony with the ever-global change. This would ensure being competitive and maintaining high caliper and quality outputs in such a knowledge-based economy and digital transfer world.
In light of the above-formetioned facts, the Agriculture College of Misan University, in its mission as an integral part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is striving to match such progressive advancement and thus reaching its ultimate goal of being a centre of excellence in providing its mandate and services. In this context, we refer to the ongoing efforts in applying a total quality management system on all fronts of our set mission. Competitive graduates, equipped with technical and transferable skills, are key and critical to serving the need of the concerned market (state and private sectors) and society.
Since its establishment in 2013, the College of Agriculture is working hard towards achieving its mission and vision that extracted and aligned with the University’s mission of creating a healthy environment of learning and research aimed at the high-caliper and competitive graduates. This is in addition to the efforts made to create a research and innovation culture that aims at adequately addressing the current and future faced challenges of the market and industry.
To meet its set objectives, the Deanery office of Agriculture College utilizes and adopts all available and advanced teaching and learning means including benefiting from lessons learned from world-class universities’ experience in this context. This would secure sustainable development that aims at meeting the Agricultural, economic, environmental, and social needs of our beloved country. This includes food supply security and sustainability. All in all, and to achieve our set goals and mission as dictated and matched with the university mission and vision, we must update and refine our terms of reference concerning working practices, delivery, and even organization restructuring.
