Professor Dr. Ali Athfa Tama, a lecturer at the College of Agriculture at the University of Maysan, was chosen as a scientific evaluator for a scientific research in the Journal of Biological Research and Reviews, which is included in Scopus containers and has an impact factor of Q3. The evaluated research is one of the pharmaceutical researches concerned with studying and manufacturing nanoparticles from plant sources and their ability to inhibit drug-resistant bacterial isolates.
The evaluated research aims to investigate the role of Mentha piperita leaves in synthesizing nanoparticles from silver metal and their adoption in inhibiting the highly virulent and multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumonia bacteria from clinical sources.
It is noteworthy that Professor Dr. Ali Athfa Tama has contributed to the evaluation of many scientific research and studies in international and local journals, as well as contributing to the membership of many scientific and research conferences and seminars that contribute to building bridges of scientific cooperation between the University of Maysan and Iraqi and international universities.
