Vision of the Faculty of Agriculture
The Faculty of Agriculture at Maysan University aims to become one of the distinguished academic institutions in education, scientific research and community development in the agricultural field in plant and animal to face the current and future challenges of sustainable development. Conducting scientific and applied researches that work to address and find solutions to the problems facing the agricultural sector as well as the development of natural and human resources through the adoption of the idea of continuous development and the development of positive values as a method of performance Mechanism and consistent with the mission of the university.
Objectives of the Faculty of Agriculture
- Developing the capabilities of teachers in teaching skills and education systems in order to develop the educational environment in the faculty.
- Preparation of scientific cadres specialized in the agricultural field in plant and animal, in line with modern developments.
- Developing the infrastructure of scientific research to ensure the study and development of solutions to the problems facing the agricultural sector in the country.
- Develop communication mechanisms with relevant authorities in the field of community service and environment development.
- Providing agricultural consultations and holding seminars and workshops for the concerned departments.
- Engage graduates in training and guidance courses to equip them with scientific expertise and in line with recent developments to face the problems experienced by the agricultural sector
