Mr. Hassan Juwaid Obaid, Director of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau in the province, visited Maysan University and met with its President, Professor Dr. Adel Manea Al-Kaabi. This visit represents an important opportunity to enhance cooperation and coordination between the regulatory and academic bodies in the field of auditing and financial supervision.
The visit discussed the exchange of knowledge and expertise by reviewing practices in the field of auditing and supervision and benefiting from the experiences of employees in the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, as well as coordinating efforts and enhancing cooperation between the audit departments and divisions at the university and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau to ensure the integration of efforts in monitoring financial performance.
The President of Maysan University welcomed this visit, expressing the discussion of the common challenges facing both parties in the field of auditing and financial supervision and developing joint strategies to overcome them, instructing employees in the control and financial departments at the university to benefit from the workshops or training courses provided by the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau to enhance their accounting and auditing skills, in order to achieve the common goals between the university and the regulatory bodies.
