Maysan University hosted the Global Entrepreneurship Week under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of Maysan University, Professor Dr. Adel Manea Al-Kaabi, and in the presence of a number of private sector companies, some banks, and some professors, lecturers, and researchers specialized in the field of entrepreneurship.
It hosts a group of private sector companies and some banks that provide some loans for small projects in the College of Law at Maysan University, and businessmen and owners of successful experiences in entrepreneurship are also hosted.
Al-Kaabi indicated that at the level of Maysan University, researchers, professors, lecturers, and specialists present their vision on the topic of entrepreneurship and providing future job opportunities for graduates that do not depend on central appointment.
Professor Dr. Adel Manea also spoke about the experience of Maysan University on the Bridges Program in cooperation with the World Food Organization; Where he trained and qualified 325 graduates of the university graduates at the level of four months for the purpose of involving them and introducing them to management and increasing their ideas to create projects related to entrepreneurship projects.
He also indicated that memoranda were concluded with oil companies for the purpose of providing job opportunities for the unemployed as well as a program in entrepreneurship with Asiacell Company. All of this comes within the pioneering work to motivate students to highlight their economic skills and ideas, and to support students in developing their skills and abilities in establishing small projects and not waiting for jobs.
