A workshop on managing the scientific departments system and managing the professor’s profile system in the digital Bologna path was held at the College of Agriculture at the University of Maysan. M.M. Abbas Laibi Al-Rajhi, a lecturer at the college, lectured in the presence of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhurgham Sabih Karim, and the heads of scientific departments and all professors of the college for the year 2024-2025.
The workshop showed the most important steps necessary for managing the platform by the heads of scientific departments, how to manage it optimally, and also to activate the teaching account and how to enter the profile of each teaching staff and deal with the digital path.
The workshop dealt with how to record student attendance, manage lectures, and the academic description plan. It also explained how to install the vocabulary of the scientific material for each subject, in addition to publishing the scientific material after each lecture so that students can return to it at any time.
The workshop aimed to develop the experiences and skills of the teaching staff in dealing with the platform, to move to fully electronic digital work.
The workshop highlighted the importance of this digital path and the qualitative shift in the field of managing the educational process, following up on students and teachers, and following up on scientific activities. It also emphasized ensuring students’ rights and controlling the educational process smoothly and easily using information technology.
