University of Misan organizes a seminar on the modern classification of fungi, The college of Agriculture Department of Plant Protection organized a seminar on the modern classification of fungi in the presence of professors, researchers and a group of students (Dr. Abdul Karim Qassim Jabr) The seminar included the contents of the World Scientific Academy and the international divisional scientists, where they adopted a new division of living organisms known as the six kingdoms. The fungi were found in a special kingdom called the Mycota kingdom. The new group of Oomycetes, which contains a large group of pathogenic organisms (Oomycetes) to the kingdom of primates Protoctista because of their differences in their morphological, compositional, cytological and reproductive characteristics, and most importantly, their molecular genetic composition of the fungi, so those who consider it Fungalism has committed a scientific error, and this is confirmed by the Global Partition Committees, headed by the British Mycological Society, based on a range of important traits.
