The University of Misan holds a seminar on reducing migration. The college of Agriculture of the University of Misan held a scientific symposium on reducing the phenomenon of migration with the participation of teaching and college students. The seminar included a lecture by teacher Ahmed Faleh Shamekh in which he explained the causes of emigration, the most important disadvantages and the dangers of emigration and the reduction of this dangerous phenomenon which is exhausting the country because of the migration of young people and scientific minds and the number of statistics issued by the International Organization for Migration. The seminar also recommended a number of measures, including focusing on citizenship education in school programs to motivate young people to become attached to their homeland and not to neglect it and take care of our youth qualifications by providing some privileges such as transportation, housing and health insurance so that there is no temptation to go to other countries. As well as providing appropriate spaces for study and training and motivate young people to invent and scientific research through the provision of some awards and grants and provide employment opportunities for young people and operational grants.
