Available Study Channels for Students (Morning Study):<\/p>\n
Free Scholarships: A scholarship that covers tuition fees and housing.
\nSemi-Free Scholarships: A scholarship that covers half of the tuition fees.
\nPrivate Expenses: A scholarship with tuition fees specified in Iraqi dinars and paid annually for all academic levels.<\/p>\n
General Admission Requirements for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies<\/p>\n
1. The student must be a foreigner or an Arab citizen with non-Iraqi parents, i.e., of exclusively foreign or Arab origins.<\/p>\n
2. Neither the student nor their parents must be of Iraqi origin and have obtained a non-Iraqi nationality.<\/p>\n
3. The student must have a non-Iraqi preparatory school certificate, whether Arab or foreign.<\/p>\n
4. The student must not have previously obtained a seat at an Iraqi public university or private college or university, according to the approved admission channels.<\/p>\n
5. The student must not have applied to any of the private or public admission channels at public universities or private colleges and universities.<\/p>\n
6. Students who have obtained a study seat within the Study in Iraq program are not eligible for employment privileges in Iraqi ministries or any other non-educational privileges.<\/p>\n
Admission requirements for the Free Scholarship Channel:<\/p>\n
First: For undergraduate studies (diploma, bachelor\u2019s):<\/p>\n
The student must meet the minimum admission requirements for the university and college they wish to study at to obtain a bachelor\u2019s degree, according to the choices listed in the application form and in order of preference, as follows:
\nMedical group (general medicine with a grade of 85%), dentistry and pharmacy with a grade of 75%).<\/p>\n
\u2013 Engineering and nursing majors with a grade of 65%.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Other scientific and humanities majors with a grade of 60%.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Students are exempt from the grade requirement for obtaining a technical or vocational diploma.<\/p>\n
\u2013 The applicant must not be older than 30 years.<\/p>\n
Second: For graduate studies (higher diploma, master\u2019s, doctorate):<\/p>\n
\u2013 The student must meet the minimum admission requirements, as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2013 To obtain a master\u2019s or higher diploma: 65%<\/p>\n
\u2013 To obtain a doctorate: 75%<\/p>\n
\u2013 The applicant must not be older than 40 years One year to obtain a master\u2019s degree or equivalent, and no more than 45 years to obtain a doctorate degree.<\/p>\n
B. Admission requirements for semi-free scholarships:<\/p>\n
First \u2013 For undergraduate studies (diploma, bachelor\u2019s):<\/p>\n
\u2013 The student must meet the minimum admission requirements for the university and college in which he\/she wishes to study for a bachelor\u2019s degree, according to the choices listed in the application form and in order of preference, as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2013 The medical group: General Medicine, with a GPA of 75, and Dentistry and Pharmacy, with a GPA of 70.<\/p>\n
The engineering and nursing specializations, with a GPA of 60%.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Other scientific and humanities specializations, without a GPA requirement. The applicant must not be older than 33 years of age.<\/p>\n
Second, for postgraduate studies (higher diploma, master\u2019s, doctorate):<\/p>\n
\u2013 The student must meet the minimum admission requirements, i.e., for a master\u2019s degree or higher diploma (60) and for a doctorate (70).<\/p>\n
\u2013 Applicants are exempt from the age requirement.<\/p>\n
T\/ Self-funded admission requirements and conditions:<\/p>\n
