Module Learning Outcomes

This course is essential in all engineering branches providing the students with the general basics of engineering science. by completing this course, students will be able:-

1- To understand how the world, both natural and man-made, works.

2- To understand physical principles, such as forces, motion, and equilibrium which has a crucial importance for any engineer.

3- To have a good knowledge of safety rules on-site in an industrial environment and increase the knowledge about the use of working tools, instruments, and machines.

4- To present a general guide for solving problems.

5- To show how to analyze systems of force.

6- To introduce the concept of free body diagram and equilibrium equation.

7- To present specific applications of frictional force analysis.

8- To study and classify the Kinematics and kinetics of particles and rigid bodies.

9- To know the basic of thermodynamics.

10- To know the basic of strength of materials
