The course was organized in line with the directives from the University\u2019s Presidency, which emphasizes the importance of occupational safety and risk prevention through workshops and seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit of the  Engineering  Faculty, hosted a three-day course. Key instructors included Assistant professor <strong>Dr. Jasim Hassan Alak<\/strong>, Assistant professor <strong>Dr. Ali Hussein Hassan<\/strong>, Assistant Engineer <strong>Mr.  Ali Abdul Hussein Rusun<\/strong>, and Assistant Engineer <strong>Mr. Mortaza Mohamed Attya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The course provided a detailed explanation of the safety specifications required in the Faculty&#8217;s laboratories, comparing these standards to the current conditions. The goal was to generate recommendations for improving safety and enhancing awareness of risk prevention and emergency procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A practical demonstration was also included, illustrating how global safety standards can be applied to the day-to-day activities of laboratory workers.
