This prestigious journal has an Impact Factor of 6.6 and a CiteScore of 12.7. It is ranked among the top quarter of journals in both the Scopus and Clarivate global databases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The research focuses on the thermal improvements of a double-glazed window with variable-phase material (PCM) under hot weather conditions in southern Iraq, specifically in Amarah City. The newly developed window was compared to a reference window with the same dimensions and an air gap. It was experimentally tested in different orientations\u2014East, South, and West\u2014and analyzed through several energy indicators, including the window&#8217;s average internal temperature, thermal attenuation coefficient, and temperature delay. The study found significant improvements in the energy efficiency of the window containing PCM across all orientations compared to the reference window.
