{"id":14116,"date":"2025-03-06T11:22:01","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T08:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomisan.edu.iq\/eng\/ar\/?p=14116"},"modified":"2025-03-06T11:22:03","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T08:22:03","slug":"faculty-of-engineering-holds-an-attendance-workshop-entitled-dams-overview-and-selectors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomisan.edu.iq\/eng\/ar\/en\/blog\/archives\/14116","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Of Engineering Holds An Attendance Workshop Entitled: Dams &#8211; Overview And Selectors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sponsored by the President of the University of Maysan, <strong>Professor<\/strong> <strong>Adel Man&#8217;e Dakhil<\/strong>, and supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, <strong>Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood<\/strong>, the Continuing Education Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, organized a workshop titled &#8220;Dams &#8211; Overview and Determinants&#8221; on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Rehab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Present at the workshop were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assistant Professor <strong>Dr. Muammar Hazem Ali<\/strong>, a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistant Lecturer <strong>Duha Kareem Hassan<\/strong>, a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The workshop discussed three main themes: an introduction to dams, types of dams, and criteria for selecting their locations.
