{"id":16403,"date":"2025-08-21T09:10:31","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T06:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomisan.edu.iq\/eng\/ar\/?p=16403"},"modified":"2025-08-21T09:10:32","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T06:10:32","slug":"establishment-of-the-department-of-biomedical-engineering-at-the-faculty-of-engineering-university-of-maysan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomisan.edu.iq\/eng\/ar\/en\/blog\/archives\/16403","title":{"rendered":"Establishment of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering \u2013 University of Maysan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As part of the ongoing efforts to advance academic progress and promote modern scientific specializations, the faculty of engineering \u2013 University of Maysan has obtained official approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish a Department of Biomedical Engineering starting from the academic year 2025\u20132026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This scientific achievement reflects the faculty\u2019s vision of keeping pace with global developments that integrate engineering and medical sciences, opening new opportunities for students to join a promising specialization that contributes to preparing qualified competencies capable of serving society and its health and educational institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On this occasion, the Dean of the faculty, Professor <strong>Abbas Oda Dawood<\/strong>, expressed pride in this development, describing it as a qualitative leap in the faculty\u2019s progress.
