I- <\/em><\/strong>Objectives <\/span><\/strong><\/em>:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department of pharmacology<\/strong>  is established at academic year 2010-2011 & committed to academic excellence and to the attainment of regional , national  and  international  recognition for the quality of  its  educational,  researches and service activities .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the department focuses on 4 broad objectives:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. To provide abroad based education in pharmacology<\/strong>  to graduating medical students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. To provide a first rate clinical pharmacology<\/strong> <\/strong>training to the medical student , increasing  their skills in clinical pharmacology<\/strong>  and updating their knowledge about  new emerging drugs and medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. To support and promote a high standard creative academic researches within the department of pharmacology<\/strong>, college of medicine and university at large by both staffs members and post graduate students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. To encourage a continuous medical education for the seek of developing medical knowledge and skills to department staff, and others who are working in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

II-Vision and mission<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vision<\/span>:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vision of  the  department of pharmacology is to be a recognized and distinguished unit in the field of pharmacology by  providing   an excellent teaching and training for the medical under  graduate  and  post   graduate   students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/span>:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The  mission  of  the  department  is  to:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Graduate, in anintegrative manner with other  departments ,  doctors who are remarkably efficient and safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- The members of the department are sharing actively in the pharmacological informations in the main hospital of Missan, and participate in all health committees of Missan health directorate to affair their services to Missan citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
