The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Ministerial Committee for hosting the fifty-sixth session of the Association of Arab Universities, which will be hosted by the capital, Baghdad, next March 2024.
The Minister of Education directed the formation of scientific, technical and logistical committees and the organization and completion of the map of procedures responsible for hosting this important event, in which universities and scientific institutions affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities will participate.
He explained during the meeting, which included a number of deputies, university presidents and general directors, that the work of this edition coincides with the anniversary of the founding of the Union, stressing at the same time the importance of establishing appropriate climates for cooperation between universities in the fields of scientific knowledge as an effective tool in development and improvement, noting that Iraq and its institutions carry It has a long history and scientific indicator worthy of hosting and embracing the work of the Association of Arab Universities.
