As a part of developing productive and fruitful relationships between University of Misan and University of Central Florida (UCF), Professor Alaa Dhafer Amer (Ph.D.) and Dr. Haider Hasaan Faraj (Director of Scholarships and Cultural Relations) held a meeting with Dr. Tamara AlBayati (Director of International Language Programs) representative UCF, which is one of the biggest universities in the United States and the world and it has close connections with research centers and international institutions such as NASA for Space Research.
During the meeting, approaches and methods of cooperation between the two universities were presented, which will start with the establishment of a workshop. Three topics on how to develop and improve students’ skills in the Department of English by the University of Misan were presented by the representatives of University of Misan which all of them were accepted. The meeting ended with Dr. Tamara’s expression of her university’s desire to establish a long-term cooperation with the University of Misan in order to develop the English language at the university as a primary goal among other goals.
