This course is essential in all engineering branches providing the students with the general basics of engineering science. by completing this course, students will be able: –

1- To understand how the world, both natural and man-made, works.

2-To have a good knowledge of safety rules on-site in an industrial environment and increase the knowledge about the use of working tools, instruments, and machines.

3-To present a general guide for solving problems.

4-To introduce the concept of free body diagram and equilibrium equation.
