Under the auspices of the President of the University of Misan, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdel-Aziz Al-Shawi. And under the direct supervision by Dean of the Collage of Law , Prof. Dr. Amer Zughair Moheisen, under the title:
(The citizen is basis and purpose of the state).
Collage of Law held its first scientific conference , entitled: (The Role of Legislations in Enhancing Citizens’ Confidence in the State), on Thursday, 25 April 2019.
The conference, which included researchers from inside and outside Iraq, dealt with important topics related to legal legislation that should be reviewed in line with developments on the political, social and economic aspects. Through this review, it is possible to reach results that will enhance the confidence of citizens in the state, thus contributing to the advancement of development.
The issues that discussed in the conference were into two axes, the first of which discussed issues related to constitutional Law , administrative Law, criminal Law and Public international law; while the second axis dealt with the study and analysis of legal issues related to Civil Law , Commercial law, investment and arbitration as well as the Islamic law.
In conclusion, the conference reached a set of findings and recommendations that will be submitted to the competent authorities in the legislative, executive and judicial authorities, which will contribute to the promotion of building a democratic state that respects the law and the rights of citizens in Iraq.
