The Dean of the College of Education, University of Maysan, Assistant Professor Dr. Buraq Talib Shalash, participated in the activities of the First Sustainable Development Conference, entitled (Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development in Maysan, Visions and Plans for a Sustainable Future) at Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in cooperation with the University of Maysan and the departments of the state in the governorate The goal of the conference is to activate 17 points contained in the concepts of sustainable development, which seeks many goals, most notably reducing poverty and widespread unemployment, creating job opportunities, and enhancing cooperation between sectors in the governorate to achieve the sustainable development goals approved by the United Nations.
