The College of Education at the University of Maysan holds a workshop entitled (Electronic Blackmail)

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Maysan, the respected Professor Dr. Abdel Baset Mohsen Ayal, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, the respected Assistant Professor Dr. Buraq Talib Shalash. The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Education at the University of Maysan held a workshop entitled (Electronic Blackmail) in the presence of the Dean and the college’s professors and students. The workshop included a lecture delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarah Abdel Hussein Bandar, head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit And Dr. Hadeel Ghazi Abd Ali Explaining the concept of electronic blackmail and its history. The workshop provided statistics on the topic, its causes, and ways to avoid it. The workshop included many objectives, including introducing the concept of electronic blackmail, its causes, and its psychological effects on women and shedding light on the phenomenon of harassment through social media, the workshop also aimed to spread awareness and guidance to female students. The workshop concluded with setting some general advice for electronic security, as well as regularly updating programs and informing the responsible official authorities in the event of exposure to electronic blackmail.
