The master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Education/University of Maysan, the role of the companions of Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, specifically the non-Arabs, in intellectual life under the title: (The role of the companions of Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, who are non-Arabs, in the intellectual life (132 AH/148 AH) by the student Ethar Hussein Abd, and under the supervision of the professor Dr. Nima Sahi Hassan. The thesis aims to identify the role of the companions of Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, in spreading various sciences, specifically the transmission sciences such as the science of interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, beliefs, and the science of history. And mental sciences such as medicine, pharmacy, physics, chemistry, astronomy and astrology.
The thesis explained that the circumstance in which Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, lived contributed greatly to the development, prosperity and crystallization of landmarks, as his scientific university embraced an elite group of those who had a role in disseminating the knowledge they acquired from the leader of the sect and the sheikh of jurists, Imam Jaafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and they spread it to all parts of the world. .
The study concluded that Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, formed a wide field of knowledge through the gathering of students, scholars, and jurists around him, and they spread the knowledge of Muhammad, peace be upon them, to various parts of the earth. After Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, was given the opportunity as a result of the circumstances existing at that time, meetings with his companions became more free. Therefore, it graduated a large number of students who were mujahideen in the arenas of the intellectual and ideological movement.
