The College of Nursing at the University of Misan organized a lecture on health awareness about preventing high blood pressure, with the participation of a number of students.
The lecture, given by the lecturer Ghazwan Abdul Hussein, included an explanation of high blood pressure, its risks to public health, methods of treatment and prevention.
The lecture discussed the most important risk factors that lead to high blood pressure. It revealed many signs and symptoms and to the effect of this disease on various body systems.
The lecture displayed the importance of preventing it by following a healthy diet, practicing physical activities, and paying attention to periodic visits to health care centers to conduct early detection of high blood pressure among community members.
