Misan Journal of Political and International Studies seeks to attract the largest possible number of authors and researchers seeking to publish their research, on the pages of its papers, on its website and its electronic platform. Accordingly, the editor-in-chief of the journal is making every effort to overcome the obstacles facing researchers from various Arab and foreign countries, and to provide the best Services in a simplified manner, in terms of communication and completion of procedures through electronic management, so the following steps were put in place:

 

Firstly, the elements of writing scientific research:

 

1. The title of the research and the name of the author, with a definition in the margin of his academic degree.
2. Abstract: It includes a statement of the topic and the problem or the basic question, along with a statement of the scientific methods and approaches that the researcher took in solving this problem and answering this basic question, and finally the results that the researcher reached, all of this without mentioning a title for any of the matters mentioned, provided that it does not exceed ( 100) words in Arabic and English.
3. Keywords: At least (5) keywords must be mentioned in the search, through which anyone who wants to search the Internet can access the search.
4. The introduction or introduction is a page or less, in which the researcher explains the development of the research without mentioning any title.
5. Definitions Before starting with the credentialing principles, we must start with the conceptual principles of the topic, by clarifying the concepts directly related to the title, or indirectly related to it but necessary. A brief statement is also written about the precedent of the research, its topic, and some important theories in this regard. (Do not exceed one or two pages maximum)
6. Research content: It includes collecting information from basic books and references and arranging it in a logical and scientific manner with scientific documentation of each piece of information, then analyzing the information, compiling it, combining it, discussing it, establishing evidence and evidence, weighing between them, and expressing a final opinion.
7. Conclusion: It includes the results of the clear conclusions reached by the researcher in his research regarding the problem he discussed in his research, and then writing clear recommendations related to his topic and directed to the concerned parties in his research that serve the problem he researched.
8. Footnotes and sources are added at the end of the research using the Chicago method, in English, as well as followed by the sources on which the researcher relied in writing his research.
9. Preferably a research that does not exceed (20) pages.

 

Secondly: In the procedures for requesting publication electronically:

 

The following steps can be followed when requesting to publish the research, and via the journal’s website, where all procedures can be completed via electronic communication, through:

 

1. The research is submitted using the electronic submission system on the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies website, on the Internet, and by registering on the magazine’s platform and website.
2. After completing the registration process, click on Create a Publication Request, fill out a submission form prepared for this purpose, fill in all the required fields, and attach an electronic copy of the research exclusively in Word file format.
3. Upon receipt of the research, the journal will notify the researcher of the receipt of his research within (5) working days.
4. The manuscript is subjected to the Turnitin plagiarism detection program before being sent to the reviewers, and it is preferable that the linguistic review conducted by the authors be in both Arabic and English.
5. The information adopted in the manuscript should not be taken from random internet sites, but only those based on research published in international or local journals, books, theses and theses.
6. Research Undertaking and Submission Request forms (available in the Author Directory window) must be formally completed and submitted prior to any action taken by the journal.
7. The researcher is informed electronically that the research has been sent to the evaluators/reviewers.
8. The author must make the revisions requested by the reviewers within a maximum period of one month. However, the author must see and approve the final version of the manuscript within a maximum of three days.
9. The researcher will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of his research within a period ranging from two weeks to a month maximum. The researcher whose research is accepted for publication will be notified of the date of publishing his research, and he will be provided with a letter of acceptance.
10. The publishing fees in the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies, for researchers from outside Iraq, are (0) zero US dollars, for (20) pages, and in excess of that, an amount of (5) dollars is collected for each page, and the fees can be paid via external transfer or payment. Electronic (BOS), on the account number published on the magazine’s website.
11. The fees for publishing in the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies, for researchers from inside Iraq, are (110,000) one hundred and ten thousand Iraqi dinars, for (20) pages, and for more than that, an amount of (5000) five thousand dinars is collected for each page. Payment of wages can be via internal transfer, payment at the magazine’s headquarters, or via electronic payment (BOS) on the account number published on the magazine’s website.
12. After the corrections are made by the researcher, the research is sent again via the magazine’s platform to the editor-in-chief, and the corrected research copy is presented to the arbitrators again to show the extent of the researcher’s commitment to their observations and take their opinion. An acceptance for publication is sent to the researcher via his e-mail, and the issue of determining the issue in which the research will be published remains the responsibility of the editor-in-chief, taking into account the sequence and precedence of submitting research.
13. Research published in the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies will be indexed and uploaded to the Iraqi academic journals website.
14. The researcher is provided with a printed and stamped copy for the purposes of applying for academic promotion, and he bears the delivery fees.
15. The journal is not obligated to return research, whether published or not.
16. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions will result in delay or failure to publish research.

 

Third: Transferring copyright and publishing rights to Misan Journal of Political and International Studies:

 

1. The research that the researcher submits to the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies for publication should be an original paper, written by the author or (the aforementioned authors) and not published elsewhere. It has not been currently considered for publication by any other journal, and will not be submitted for such review during review by the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies. The research does not contain any defamatory or unlawful statements and does not contain any material that violates any personal rights or intellectual property rights. To any other person or entity.
2. The researcher must obtain permission from the copyright owners for any excerpts from copyrighted works that are included and the sources cited in his research, if any.
3. If the research is prepared jointly with other authors, the researcher must inform the co-author(s) of these publishing terms and undertakings, sign on their behalf as their agent, and must be authorized to do so. The researcher must also adhere to the policies of the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies, With regard to all requirements, granting him all rights of publishing, paper and electronic distribution of the magazine or whomever he authorizes.
4. For this purpose, the researcher signs a pledge to transfer copyright and publication to the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies, according to a form prepared for this purpose and published on the journal’s website.
5. The editorial board has the right to make any amendments in terms of the type of letter, writing style, and linguistic syntax in accordance with our approved magazine model.
6. The editorial board's decision to accept or reject is final, reserving its right not to give reasons.

 

Fourth: Publication instructions:

 

1. Research is submitted to the editorial board electronically in Word format.
2. An abstract must be submitted with the research in both Arabic and English, provided that it does not exceed (100) words for each abstract, along with the keywords for the research to be published.
3. The submitted research should not exceed 20 pages of A4 In the event of an increase in the number exceeding the specified number, the researcher will pay (5000) five thousand Iraqi dinars for each additional page.
4. The first page of the research contains information in the following form (the researcher’s full name, academic rank, place of work, email address, and the full title of his research) according to the criteria contained in (the publishing template) available on the journal’s website.
5. In the introduction to the research, (the importance of the research, the problem of the research, the research hypothesis, the methodology, and the structure of the research) are written in accordance with the ministerial instructions for peer-reviewed scientific journals.
6. Sources and references are indicated at the end of the research, in English, even if they are Arabic sources, and are arranged alphabetically, with the exception of the texts of the Holy Qur’an.
7. The footnotes at the end of the research are written in Chicago style and in English.
8. Tables and figures are numbered respectively according to their appearance in the research.
9. If the researcher requests to withdraw his research for any reason, and the editorial board has completed one of the requirements for publishing the research, a scientific evaluation, a linguistic evaluation, or a plagiarism detection, or both, the board declines to return any amounts collected from the researcher as fees for the aforementioned expenses.
