ABSTRACT:
The aim of the research is to identify the role of new media and media transformational leadership strategies in developing creativity in journalistic institutions, clarify the characteristics of the media transformational leader, and the most important pillars on which media transformational leadership is based, and propose creative strategies that enrich thinking and thus lead to creativity in media performance. Identifying qualities for the media leader to achieve media creativity, and the research reached results and recommendations, the most important of which are: Transformational media leadership provides a media vision that can be embodied on the ground because the media vision of the media organization is because it represents his media compass by which he is guided and the goal and goal by which all his inputs and operations are supposed to work. To translate it into reality, to achieve media creativity through the practice of transformational media leadership, it is necessary to emphasize the consolidation of the team spirit and work through it. Today’s media journalistic institutions are characterized by diverse cultures. They are globalized systems… Like it or not, diversity is the source of their strength. Effective media transformational leadership is what improves the fruits of the diversity of its individuals through its acceptance of the cultural, cognitive, skillful and imaginative diversity of the work team.
