The College of Education – University of Maysan announced the creation of a doctoral study in the specialty of modern and contemporary history for the academic year 2024-2025. This came after obtaining final official approvals to open this study from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This comes in line with scientific development and the need for vertical expansion in the study and specialization of the doctorate in modern and contemporary history. In order to raise the scientific and academic level of the college, and provide students with the opportunity to complete their studies, This ensures the qualification of advanced scientific staff in these specializations and everything related to them.
It is noteworthy that the college has provided all the material and human capabilities required for this, which would guarantee exemplary postgraduate study and the graduation of a distinguished scientific cadre.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Buraq Talib Shalash, said that the creation of the doctoral study in our college came as a continuation of the series of achievements achieved by the college at all levels, thus reflecting the magnitude of success achieved as a result of the combined efforts of all its employees as they write the success story of the College of Education, University of Maysan. They work in the spirit of one team under diligent and wise management represented by the Dean, the Dean’s Assistants of the College, its esteemed Council, and the professional and close cooperation of our College.
