The Dean of the College of Education, University of Maysan, Assistant Professor Dr. Buraq Talib Shalash, participated in the meeting of the deans of the colleges of education for pure sciences in Iraqi universities. Which was held in the conference hall at the College of Education, Al-Mustansiriya University, on Thursday, 2/8/2024 Headed by Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Shuaa Al-Taie, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences in Iraq, The meeting included a discussion of the scientific and academic reality of the colleges of education for the humanities and pure sciences and a discussion of evaluation criteria at various levels,a review of study units for all curricula in the colleges, as well as examining the various issues that were approved at the meeting to ensure the enhancement of scientific and academic outcomes. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has also approved the creation of postgraduate studies (Master’s) in the Department of Mathematics in our college. We hope to complete the requirements for creation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
