About (pragmatic theory)
A seminar was held at the College of Education / University of Missan / Department of English on the theory of pragmatics in the suicide letters, the study showed the link between the pragmatic theory and suicide letters in terms of speech acts theory. It focused on analyzing suicide letters from a pragmatic perspective. It aims to explain how the speech acts theory can be applied to the analysis of the suicidal persons’ mind.
