A lecturer in the College of Education participates in the Arab Cultural Summit in the city of Basra

The lecturer in the Department of History at the College of Education, University of Maysan, Professor Dr. Hashim Dakhil Hussein, participated in the Arab Cultural Summit Conference, sponsored by the Iraqi Private Banks Association, which was held on Friday,8/3/2024, in the hall of the Movenpick Hotel in the city of Basra Al-Fayhaa, within a panel discussion entitled (Culture and Economy and their role in human development and building society). During the conference, he was honored with the Arab Intellectual Necklace for his cultural and literary expertise. The participation of Professor Dr. Hashim Dakhil Hussein Al-Daraji in the Arab Cultural Summit and a number of intellectuals and economic figures, including director Faris Tu’oma Al-Tamimi, novelist Amjad Tawfiq, and Dr. Qasim Al-Fahd, Director General of the Central Bank of Iraq the Basra branch, the poet Dr. Hashim Al-Musawi, the poet Ali Al-Amarah, Majid Hamid Al-Sudani, director of the branches of the National Bank of Iraq, and the writer Ihsan Al-Samarrai, will give a fruitful impression to cultural figures and elite businessmen in building a prosperous Iraq free of violence, ignorance and hatred. It is worth noting that Professor Dr. Hashim Dakhil Hussein participated in many international and local conferences. He is a member of the Arab Intellectuals Club, a member of the editorial board of Nabina magazine, and a member of the Union of Arab Historians. He has many participations in the discussion committees of master’s theses and doctoral theses in various Iraqi universities. This is what contributes.
