We are, in department of Surgery/ Maysan Medical
College, looking forward to be the most scientifically and practically
distinguished between the departments of our college, and to be among the
prominent national and international surgical departments of faculties of
medicine.
In addition to the preparation of medical students for
undergraduate certification, we hope to be a center for higher surgical
specialities.
We aspire to have a role and to be pioneers in the
development process and reform in medical education.

Aims and objectives:
Graduating new doctors qualified academically and
practically to be able to deal with surgical diseases with high professionalism
and success.
Inoculating the spirit of creativity, scientific
innovation and love of the medical profession among our students.
Consolidate the commitment to ethics and medical
standards and to emphasize that the most important and highest goal in the
whole process of health care is the patient and providing him utmost care.
