Master Thesis of the postgraduate (Faten Khudair Abbas) was discussed at the College of Science / University of Misan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Aboud Khalif as a Member and a Supervisor, the thesis was under the title:

(Study of some hormonal and biochemical parameters associated with polycysic ovary – syndrome in Type 2 diabectic women)

The study aims to measure some hormonal and biochemical parameters associated with PCOS for women with Type 2 diabetes in Maysan Province.

The study was conducted on 120 women (before menopause) to see the changes in some hormonal and biochemical parameters of women with PCOS by increasing the androgen hormones and insulin resistance in women who were studied.

The study revealed the existence of hormonal variations (hormones, androgen, prolactin, and insulin) in addition to other biochemical variables (cholesterol, triglycerides and C-reactive protein). The study recommended the need to take some other metabolic relationships that may affecting PCOS, such as obesity and try to study it extensively.
