Misan University launches its scholarship plan within the project (Study in Iraq) to accept foreign students in its faculties

The President of Misan University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Basset Mohsen Eyal, announced the completion of the procedures of the university plan, and in response to what was put forward by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, within the project (Study in Iraq). We announce the study plan for the (Study in Iraq) project to accept foreign students in the university formations .
His Excellency directed the formed committees to complete the requirements of the project related to the preparation of websites for the registration of foreign students wishing to study in the specializations announced by the University of Maysan.
Ayal explained that this pioneering project (study in Iraq) comes in the context of the integration of the cycles of academic reputation, scientific research, and the quality of the educational environment, after the University of Misan achieved acceptable levels in international rankings and recorded a gradual rise in the scientific publishing index within the global reach.

Where the study plan included scholarships for foreign students
For foreign students who wish to study for a bachelor’s degree, higher diploma, master’s or doctorate at the University of Maysan for the next academic year 2023/2024, with 31 academic seats and several privileges, including (paid tuition fees, reduced fees for internal housing, and facilitating residence permit procedures) while The university has set the following application conditions and criteria:
a. Study documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the student’s country and the Iraqi embassy or the Iraqi cultural attaché in that country.
B. A valid passport for a period of not less than two years from the date of its initial acceptance.
C. For morning studies, the age of the applicant should not exceed 24 years for the applicant for a bachelor’s degree, and not more than 45 years for the applicant for a master’s degree, and not more than 50 years for the applicant for a PhD.
