The staff, Dr. Hawraa Hamid Radi and Ass. Prof. Safaa Sabry Najm in the Department of Chemistry, published a research in the Egyptian journal of chemistry within Scopus containers and web of science under the title:
“Synthesize and Characterization of a Novel Nano Graphene Oxide Sulfolene derive”
The aim of the study was to prepare and diagnose a nanoscale derivative of graphene oxide, where the graphene oxide was prepared according to the Hummer method, the graphene oxide that derivatized by FT-IR technology, H-NMR, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) technology, as well as the crystallite size of graphene oxide was measured by two equations: Debye-scherer and Williamson-hall .
