of Education, University of Misan about ((Modernization experiences are a title
for the advancement and progress)) Department of History at the College of
Education – University of Misan held a scientific symposium entitled
((Contemporary Modernization Experiences in Islamic Countries -Turkey
andMalaysia- model)) on Thursday 25/4/2019 at Al-Shaheed Ali Muhammad Khazaal
Hall The session was chaired by Prof. AbdulRaheem Hanoun Attia (Ph.D.), the
Head of the Department of History. Rapporteur of the meeting was Asst. Prof.
Gufran Muhammad Aziz (Ph.D.). The main themes of the symposium are as follows:
1- Contemporary modernization experiences in Malaysia by Prof. Mohammad Hussein Zaboon- Ph. D. (Professor of Modern and Contemporary History in the Department of History – College of Education – Misan University).
2 – Contemporary modernization experiences in Turkey by Assistant Professor Ameer Ali Hussein- Ph. D. (Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary History in the Department of History – College of Education – University of Misan).
