The Engineering Sciences Lecturing Validity Testing Committee holds its regular meeting at the Faculty of Engineering

As part of the Faculty of Engineering’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of education and ensure the efficiency of academic performance, the Engineering Sciences Lecturing Validity Testing Committee held its regular meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan.

During the session, a group of applicants who had successfully completed the updated lecturing methods course—designed in line with modern blended learning approaches—underwent evaluation. Each participant delivered a 30-minute scientific lecture, which was assessed according to 25 detailed criteria encompassing scientific, methodological, and skill-based standards.

The committee is composed of seven members holding the academic titles of professor and assistant professor, representing various engineering disciplines at the faculty, in addition to an educational expert specializing in teaching methodologies. This structure aims to ensure comprehensive evaluation and to maintain high academic standards in preparing qualified teaching staff capable of effectively supporting the educational process.

The Faculty of Engineering reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to implementing rigorous quality standards in teaching and assessment, emphasizing that such measures directly contribute to improving the scientific and professional outcomes of its academic programs.
