The College of Engineering is one of the modern colleges established at the University of Misan in 2012 to prepare specialized engineering cadres to meet the requirements of economic and technological advancement sought by our beloved Iraq.
It is worth noting that the College of Engineering currently offers five engineering specializations: Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. These specializations address the actual needs of the country in general and Misan Governorate in particular, by providing the workforce with highly skilled engineering professionals. This is achieved through adopting rigorous academic curricula and advanced laboratories that rival those of the world’s leading engineering universities.
The College of Engineering will remain, with God’s help, a vital source for engineering expertise for our dear country. The undergraduate program spans four years, upon the completion of which graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
