Faculty of Engineering Commemorates the Birth of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba

On the occasion of the blessed anniversary of Imam Hassan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, the Department of Civil Engineering, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, held a joyous celebration to mark this special occasion.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a reading by student Ahmed Jazairy. Attendees then recited Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the spirits of Iraq’s innocent martyrs. Following this, Professor Dr. Ahmed Kazim al-Shara’a delivered a speech on behalf of the Faculty of Engineering, where he highlighted the noble qualities derived from Imam al-Hassan’s life. He emphasized the Imam’s pivotal role in establishing the principles of patience, wisdom, and reform within Islamic society.

The celebration was part of the Faculty of Engineering’s ongoing efforts to revive religious events and promote the high human values that emanate from the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt.
