College of Medicine at Maysan University organizes a workshop on educational Google Apps

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Maysan organized a workshop on educational Google Apps with participation of a number of college members and staff and students.

The workshop included a lecture delivered by the assistant instructor “Yusuf Abdul Sattar Saadoun” instructor at the branch of physiology in the college, which explored the basics of using Google Drive (cloud storage) where is the main base for Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Slides, and other files. Google Drive allows to store and access files from anywhere on the Internet in the world, as well as on computer’s hard drive, iOS and android dependent devices.

The seminar addressed a quick introduction to the Google Classroom and its design and how the classroom helps save time, maintain order in the classroom and improve communication between teaching staff and students. It is a free service for universities, nonprofits, and anyone with a personal Google Account. Posting ads, creating questions and assignments for students.
