The construction of the Civil Engineering Department building at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Maysan, has officially begun. Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood, the Head of the Faculty, stated that this project reflects the commitment of the Presidency of Maysan University and the Faculty’s administration to provide university facilities that match the scale of urban development.
This project is funded by Maysan Oil Company’s social benefits program and has a projected completion period of 16 months. It will cover an area of 1,000 square meters and will consist of three floors, including eight classrooms, seven laboratories, nine administrative offices, and six restrooms.
