Head of Department’s Speech

The Department of Electrical Engineering (one of the departments of the College of Engineering at Misan University) is dedicated to providing advanced education in the fields of electrical power engineering and machinery, communication and electronic systems engineering, and control and systems engineering. The department aims to produce highly qualified graduates in the various fields of electrical engineering to meet the labour market demands in Iraq, particularly in Misan Province, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The department strives to achieve high standards of quality in education and scientific research, keeping pace with advancements in all disciplines to reach a distinguished level that positions it among the prestigious electrical engineering departments locally and regionally.

The Department of Electrical Engineering includes a distinguished group of faculty members specialized in electrical engineering sciences. These faculty members are graduates of international, regional, and local universities, with extensive experience in teaching, publishing research in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and participating in local and regional conferences and seminars.
