Under the patronage of the President of the University of Misan, Professor Dr. Adil Manea Dakhil,
and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Abbas Odah Dawood,
the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering held an applied scientific symposium titled:
“Road Projects in Misan Governorate: Reality and Aspirations.”
The symposium covered three main topics:
- Overview of Road Projects in Misan Governorate:
Presented by Engineer Yaqoub Youssef Fezaa, Director of Roads and Bridges in Misan. - Technical Challenges in Road Construction:
Discussed by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Habib Odah, a faculty member at Thi-Qar University and an expert in road engineering. - International Experiences and Urban Design in Improving Traffic Flow and Developing Transport Infrastructure in Cities:
Presented by Dr. Salam Adel Mutlak, a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering.
