Under the patronage of the President of Misan University, Prof. Dr. Adil Manea Dakhil,
and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood,
the Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Engineering, organized an in-person workshop titled:
“Application of MATLAB Program in Engineering Fields”
The workshop, which took place on Monday, January 13, 2025, was presented by Dr. Mahmood Shacker Mahmood, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Assistant Lecturer Eman Mohamed Ismail, a faculty member in the same department.
The workshop focused on the key applications of the MATLAB program in engineering fields, with an emphasis on enhancing the technical skills of engineers and faculty members in using this program as a primary tool for data analysis and solving engineering problems.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities aimed at developing the academic and practical skills of engineering staff, in line with the latest scientific advancements.
