Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Hashimi, the Scientific Assistant to the Rector of the University of Maysan, and Mr. Mortaza Hassan, Director of the Department of Postgraduate Studies, visited the Faculty of Engineering on Thursday morning, January 9, 2025, to observe the postgraduate examinations in the Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering departments.
Upon arrival, they were welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Hassaneen Abbas, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, alongside Assistant Professor Dr. Mortaza Abdel Ali, Head of Civil Engineering, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Khalaf, Head of Electrical Engineering. The visit also included interactions with postgraduate students and several members of the teaching staff.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Hashimi and Mr. Hassan carefully examined the exam environment, stressing the importance of ensuring all necessary resources were in place to facilitate the smooth execution of the exams. They highlighted the need to adhere to academic standards and examination protocols, ensuring that students had an environment conducive to performing well. The visitors also commended the Faculty’s efforts in organizing the examinations and creating a suitable academic setting for postgraduate students.
