The Head of Engineering Faculty received a delegation from the Police Department for Facility Protection

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the Head of The Engineering Faculty, Professor Dr. Abbas Oda Dawood, met in his office with a delegation from the Directorate of Protection of Maysan Facilities. The delegation included Brigadier General Mr. Muqdad Jameel Madhi ; the Commander of the First Division, and Commissioner Mr. Muhammed Muhsen, the patrol supervisor.

During the meeting, they discussed the role of the Facility Protection Police at the 110-dunum site and their responsibilities in ensuring campus security. Dr. Abbas emphasized the need to increase the number of police personnel, particularly during evening hours.

In response, Brigadier General Mr. Muqdad confirmed that efforts were underway to bolster police presence at the complex. He also requested the support of the university’s faculties in enhancing security measures and providing both moral and material assistance to the police protection of facilities.
