The Faculty of Engineering Organizes a Recruitment Event for Prospective Graduates in Cooperation with TALL GLOBAL DMCC

Under the patronage of Professor Adel Manea Dakhil, President of Maysan University, and under the supervision of Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, with the follow-up of Assistant Lecturer Salam Abdul Zahra Khalifa, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, the Faculty of Engineering organized a recruitment event on Monday morning, June 15, 2026, in cooperation with TALL GLOBAL DMCC, as part of its program to support and recruit prospective graduates of the 2026 academic year.

The event targeted eighty students of forth-year from various academic departments. During the event, the company’s delegation conducted preliminary interviews with nominated students to identify promising talent, evaluate their academic and practical competencies, and assess their readiness to enter the labor market.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering reviewed the progress of the interviews and the implementation stages of the event, praising the efforts of TALL GLOBAL DMCC and the effective cooperation of the Faculty’s staff in ensuring the success of the recruitment program. He also delivered an encouraging address to the students in the waiting hall before their interviews, emphasizing the Faculty’s continued commitment to supporting its students and providing opportunities that enhance their professional skills and career readiness.

The program included an introductory presentation delivered by Sabih Raad Abbas, Deputy General Manager of the company, who introduced TALL GLOBAL DMCC, its work environment, and the training and career development opportunities available to prospective graduates.

The interviews covered a range of topics related to the students’ academic specializations, graduation projects, summer training experiences, as well as their technical, practical, and personal skills, with the objective of evaluating their qualifications and suitability for available career opportunities.

At the conclusion of the event, the Dean expressed his appreciation for the company’s initiative, reaffirming the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with private-sector institutions to better prepare prospective graduates and expand their employment opportunities. In turn, the delegation of TALL GLOBAL DMCC commended the academic caliber of the Faculty’s students and expressed the company’s willingness to broaden future cooperation with the University of Maysan.
