A Master’s Student from the College of Engineering Participates in an International Conference

Master’s student Rukaya Majid Karim from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Khalaf Jumaa, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, and in collaboration with international researcher Ramazan Bayindir from Gazi University – Ankara, participated in the 12th International Conference on Smart Grids (icSmartGrid), held in Setúbal, Portugal, from May 27-29, 2024.

They presented a research paper titled “Analysis and Optimization of Droop Controller for Microgrid System based on Slime Mould Algorithm.”

IEEE Xplore is the official sponsor of the conference, and all research papers presented at the conference are indexed in Scopus.
