The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls across all scientific departments of the Faculty to review the progress of the second-round examinations and follow up on the organizational and service procedures in place.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the nature of the examination questions and their suitability to the prescribed curricula and allocated examination times. He also followed up on students’ attendance and organization inside the examination halls, the work mechanisms of the examination committees, and the availability of the necessary requirements to provide an appropriate, smooth, and calm environment for students to sit their examinations.
The Dean emphasized the importance of complying with the applicable ministerial instructions and regulations, observing academic and organizational requirements, and providing a suitable examination environment for students. He also commended the efforts of the heads of the scientific departments, examination committees, teaching staff, and administrative and service personnel in ensuring the success of the examination process.
The second-round examinations at the Faculty of Engineering commenced on September 1, 2026, while some scientific departments had begun conducting their examinations at the end of August, in accordance with the approved schedules and timetables of each department.
This inspection tour comes as part of the continuous follow-up conducted by the Faculty’s Deanship to ensure the orderly conduct of examinations and provide all requirements for their success, thereby safeguarding students’ rights and strengthening the quality and integrity of the educational process.
