The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering – University of Maysan, Professor Abbas Oda Dawood, received the Director General of the Maysan Provincial Investment Commission, Professor Qusay Mijbil Shanoon, during a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation in scientific, engineering, and consulting fields, in a manner that would contribute to utilizing the Faculty’s academic and research expertise to support investment and development projects in Maysan Governorate, while strengthening the university’s role in serving the community and state institutions.
Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing effective partnerships that provide opportunities for exchanging expertise and involving specialists and researchers in developing engineering solutions and studies that support the governorate’s development and investment plans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their interest in maintaining communication and developing practical mechanisms for cooperation to achieve shared interests and contribute to supporting the development process in Maysan Governorate.
